- ACCESS TO OUR COFFEESHOP
In the city of Maastricht, the residency criterion (“ingezetenencriterium”) applies to all coffeeshops in Maastricht. This means that only individuals who reside in the Netherlands are allowed access. You must be at least 18 years old and present a valid identification document upon entry. Photos or expired documents are not accepted.
Access is granted to individuals with a Dutch identification document, such as:
-
Passport
-
National ID card
-
Driver’s license
-
Diplomatic passport
-
Refugee or foreigner (W) document
If you have a foreign ID, you can only gain access if you can also provide proof of residence or study in the Netherlands (e.g., a BRP registration extract or student card from a Dutch educational institution).
